2023 Standings
11/12 - the Total Ref and Volunteer Points has been updated to include points earned during the VM competition - these only affect the total numbers of points earned toward eligibility for the Area 10E League Playoff Tournament and do not affect the standings
11/7 - an error was found in the assignment of referee points for 11/4. This actually resulted in a change in the standings for U10G. The division standings and the referee and volunteer point files have been updated.
Final league standings are posted. You will see that some teams have fractional points in these final tables. This is because not all teams played the same number of competitive league games (U10G, U12B and U12G) and the points earned from the games results (not the referee points counted in the standings) have been adjusted accordingly.
Teams that have earned the required number of referee points and volunteer points (18 referee points and 9 Volunteer points for U10 and U12, 12 referee points and 6 volunteer points for U14) are highlighted in green in the Total Ref and Volunteer Points file. Highlighting is for each criterion separately, so both columns must be highlighted for a team to be considered for invitation to post-season Area play. Referee and Volunteer points earned during the Veteran's Memorial Event on 11/11 will all count toward the requirement to be considered for post-season Area play. Please note that there are teams, especially in the 14U age bracket and 10U Girls who have done well enough in the league to be invited to the post-season, but have not yet met eligibility requirements due to a lack of Volunteer points - please make sure the kids aren't disappointed by taking care of these shortfalls next Saturday.
Congratulations to the following teams for finishing in first place in the league -
U10 Boys - Blue Bombers
U10 Girls - Silver Stars
U12 Boys - Raptors
U12 Girls - Lucky Charms
and to the following teams for being the highest places Moorpark teams in the Area 14U league -
Boys - Da Pickles
Girls - Lavendar Lions
The schedule for the Veteran's Memorial event (11/11) will be published today (11/5) or tomorrow.
